In the 1990s, we founded Salvatore Plata because of my dream to be able to transfer high-jewellery pieces from gold to silver; at the time, gold set the fashion.
I made several journeys to Italy; in the course of those journeys, I came to know the cradle of design and fashion, and I concluded that it was possible.
I can now say that we have met a great challenge, we have matured, there are more of us, and we continue to work together to attain an objective: to carry on being the main reference point in the world of silver jewellery.
